HummingbirdX Practitioner Access

For FMFT practitioners

Two routes in. Your license decides which.

Prescribe under your own state license with HummingbirdX Pro. If you don't prescribe, or your client lives in a state where you aren't licensed, HummingbirdX Rx brings in a partner physician to make the prescribing decision.

Not sure? Two questions.

Prescribing authority follows where your client is located when they receive care, not where your practice is. Answer for the client in front of you.

Do you hold an active license that lets you prescribe? For example MD, DO, NP or PA, or an ND where your state allows prescribing.

Questions practitioners ask

Anything not covered here, ask your FMFT contact.

Can I use both Pro and Rx?

Yes. Many prescribers use Pro for clients in their own state and Rx for clients located elsewhere. Choose per client, not per practice.

What counts as "out of state"?

It's where your client is located when they receive care, not where your practice is based. A client who lives in another state is out of state even if you see them online.

Who makes the clinical decision on Rx?

The partner physician. They review each case and decide whether to prescribe. You keep the relationship with your client and the wider plan around it.

What do I need for a Pro account?

An active prescribing license in the state where your client is located and your NPI. The Pro sign-up also asks for your DEA number if you hold one.

Where do I get the access password?

From FMFT. Each site opens on its own sign-in page, so you'll see a password prompt after choosing your route.

Is pricing on these sites?

No. The sites are clinical references. Pricing and ordering sit with your approved account.
